Framing & Insulation

Framing is very important! It is the foundation for everything else that will be added to the interior of the bus.

With that being said, you need to make sure you are using the correct materials.

We used 2x4s to frame the windows & walls and maple 1x12s to cut the curved strips for the ceiling.

There are several options when it comes to insulation; we chose to go with spray foam.

Rather than doing it ourselves, we decided to outsource this project and we are so glad we did!

We ended up with about 2-3 inches of insulation on the walls (R20) and 2 inches on the ceiling (R16).
